Recipients of this year's Deutsche Bank Award (won in 2009 by Collectif and then...), new company Long Spoon are performing their inaugural show, H, at Jacksons Lane. Let's agree: they did not win an award for brilliant naming. However, the company's performers are Pablo Meneu Barreira (a not too serious/shirtless straps artist), Gemma Palomar (an excellent Chinese pole innovator), José Ángel Triguero Delgado (an abstract and interesting juggler) and Francesca Martello (seen by Sideshow at a cabaret a while back; a very able and watchable clown). The show explores 'the general themes of necessary evil and mass manipulation'. It's definitely worth a try.
