Appearing as one of the headline shows at the Roundhouse's CircusFest, and emerging as another in a recent short line of boysy Nordic circus exports, La Meute is performed by a six-strong all-male troupe that graduated from DOCH. Although it folds in some comic sequences and engages, in its way, with the topics of risk and injury, the most successful parts of the show are around (not necessarily on) the Russian swing, the show's centrepiece apparatus, for which the choreography builds a sense of fearful respect.
