Acrojou are looking for a male circus artist or physical performer to join existing show The Wheel House for an international tour this summer.

Applicants should have: very strong performance ability and presence, comic and acting ability; strong movement and/or acrobatic ability and physical coordination; confidence working physically and creatively on and with equipment; and public liability insurance through Equity or similar. Applicants should also be 'happy helping with the set build and generally mucking in as part of a small and very busy team', and fluent French and a clean driving license are both desirable but not essential. Because the male character in the show powers the set for a lot of the performance, it is essential that applicants are physically strong and weigh above 11 stone.

Auditions will be held 1 March with callbacks on 2 March, and rehearsals will cover 10-14 March and potentially the first two weeks of May. Tour dates are scheduled May - September, and pay is to be confirmed but will be above Equity minimum and will be supplemented with expenses.

To apply send a link to a recent showreel / short video of your performance work (don't send files which need to be downloaded to be viewed) and a one page CV that clearly outlines relevant experience and skills. For more information on tour dates and the company see here. Deadline is 14 February 2014.
