Cardiff-based company NoFit State Circus are looking for a Lead Circus Coach to provide 'dynamic and creative leadership for [their] teaching team' and to 'deliver an inspirational programme of learning and participation'.
The key responsibilities of the Lead Circus Coach will be: to act as a champion and leader for the development of community circus in Wales; to advise on programme development; to work on curriculum development; to teach programme elements as appropriate to their specific skill set; to develop and manage the teaching team; and to ensure all learning spaces and resources are fit for purpose, safe, and well maintained. The Lead Coach will be supported by a teaching team, development and training budgets, and NoFit State's Resource and Facilities Managers.
The Lead Coach is a full-time, permanent post (subject to an initial three-month trial period). The position will be based in Cardiff with occasional work delivered in other parts of South Wales. The starting salary is £22,000 to £26,000 p/a, dependent on experience.
