Ockham’s Razor are looking for a female aerialist with strong physical theatre skills as an understudy for upcoming tour dates in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Applicants must have good stage presence, be physically fit with a solid base in rope, trapeze and doubles trapeze/rope (flyer), and must have an interest in 'work that explores the stories naturally inherent in circus'.
The company are looking for a team player to share the good and the bad, great venues and festivals paired with long hours in the van, loading/unloading, set construction. Due to the engineering of the shows applicants need to weigh around 55kg (8.5 Stone).
Confirmed dates for rehearsals and performances: 4-6 December 2013; 9-13 December 2013; 29 December – 1 January 2014; 17-28 January 2014; 3-7 February 2014; 10-13 February 2014; 23 February – 2 March 2014; 15-19 May 2014. More performances May-August 2014 and beyond to be confirmed.
Auditions will be held 26 & 27 October 2013 in London.
