Sideshow is very excited to see this one: a piece that's emerged from research into the different approaches and perspectives of quantum and classical physics. Essentially it's two shows – the audience are divided in half at the beginning and switch places at the midpoint – that share a single soundtrack and structurally interlock, appealing to our instinctive understanding of time and physical laws while using illusion, projection, doubling and reversal to turn this understanding on its head. Circus, science, kitsch (a Sugar Beast Circus trademark), fiendish intricacy – definitely worth the price of admission.
