Arts Council England announced its national portfolio this morning, and, putting aside the grim prevailing overall strategy of disinvestment, circus has been dealt a pretty good hand, with steadyish or increased funding for the old RFOs (missing are Company FZ, who chose not to reapply), and NoFit State Circus and Theatre Bristol new on the books.
